Jay Atkins\ Richland\ \ Jay Atkins, 30, died April 5, 2008 at his home.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 P.M. Monday and 12 until the 2:00 P.M. service time Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.\ \ A native of Oxford, Jay had lived in Richland all of his life attending Richland Schools. He was a Ceramic Tile Setter and was preceded in death by his brother: Donnie Atkins and Grandfathers; G. D. Welborn and James Atkins.\ \ He is survived by his parents: Phil and Sheila Atkins; His son: Benjamin Atkins; and Brother: Kevin Atkins all of Richland: Grandmothers: Ruth Stockman of Caledonia and Robbie Welborn of Harrisville; uncles Greg and Terry Welborn; Aunts Rita Atkins, Mary Whelan, and Patsy Shepherd; and a number of Cousins and friends…\ \
