J.C. Sanders

J.C.  Sanders, 88, beloved husband, father, and grandfather went to be with the Lord peacefully at St. Catherine’s Village on, Monday, January 8, 2024. 

J.C. was born April 15, 1935 to Houston and Sallie Coke Sanders of Pinola, MS. He graduated from Pinola High School in 1953 and attended Co-Lin Community College and Mississippi College.  He served in the national guard.   

After moving to Jackson, J.C. met and married Georgia Taylor from Collins, MS. They soon became members of  Alta Woods Presbyterian Church and later after a move to Raymond, they changed to Highpointe Baptist Church. 

J.C.  was self-employed for fifty years in South Jackson.  He started with Cities Services and then to Sanders Towing & Recovery, S & S Auto Parts, and Sanders Auto Repairs.

J.C., through the years enjoyed his pets and fishing in his lake. After he retired, J.C. loved the time he spent with his grandson and attending baseball games and family vacations.

J.C. was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dottie Sanders Perkins Dismuke. 

J.C. is survived by his wife, Georgia of 64 years; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Alex Borromeo and grandson, Colby Taylor Borromeo, all of Raymond.
