Mrs. Jean Adams

Martha Jean Adams, 62, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be 10am-11:30am Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Gatesville Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. Graveside services will follow at 12:00noon Wednesday at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Crystal Springs. A lifelong resident of Crystal Springs, Mrs. Adams enjoyed fishing, reading, Elvis and Nascar, but most of all being with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Dorothy Jean Wilson Scofield; grandchildren, Katie Graves and Cliff Adams. Survivors include her children: Vernon Adams (Sherry) of Flora; Vera Jean Azlin of Byram; Shane Azlin of Jackson, Michael Adams of Naples, FL, Tiffany White (Tony) of Ft. Worth, TX and Earl Adams of Crystal Springs; twin sister Judy Powell of Jackson; numerous grandchildren, several she raised as her own; extended family and a host of friends.
