Jean Hanna-Ainsworth, 78, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence MS. A noon graveside service follows the visitation at Chancellor. Mrs. Hanna Ainsworth was born on September 24, 1940, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She spent most of her life in Mississippi and over 35 years in Florence. A retired registered nurse, she continued a lengthy career as a Mississippi State Surveyor until 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ainsworth, and two daughters: Carole Burchfield Hargon and Fredrika Hanna. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Coffman and her husband, Bob Coffman, of Wayland, Michigan and Sandra Hanna and her husband, Bobby Jorgenson of Canyon Lake, Texas. She is also survived by her dear and adopted granddaughter, Celia Hanna-Zelaya of The Villages, Florida. Finally, she is survived by nine other grandchildren: Robin Beckwith, Travis Burchfield, Chad Coffman, Gabriel McKinsey, Samantha McKinsey, Joseph McKinsey, Vanessa Ware Street, Jennifer Sumrall and Kyla Van Haitsma, along with nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and many friends.
