Mrs. Jean Palmer

Jean Palmer, 67, of Richland, died Saturday, July 26, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 :00 P.M. Sunday, July 28, 2013 and Monday from 1:00 until the 2:00 PM Chapel service at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence. A native of Jayess, MS, Mrs. Palmer had lived in Richland most of her life. She was a homemaker and adored her family. She was always putting the needs of others before her own. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lloyd Palmer of Richland; sons James Palmer of Richland and Dean Palmer of Vicksburg; daughters Paula King, Stacey Palmer, and Brenda Herrington all of Richland, and Jeanette Brooks of Vicksburg; her sister Nelda Thames of Brandon; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
