She was a long-time resident of the Richland/Florence Community and was a member of First Baptist Church Richland. Jennie graduated from Florence High School and was employed at One Way Productions where she enjoyed working alongside her oldest grandson, Hunter. She also enjoyed working with her daddy at several print shops. On December 21, 1996, Jennie married the love of her life, Bill Ferguson. Bill and Jenny loved raising their four children together and their pride and joy were found spending time with their nine grandbabies with another one due in May. She had some of the best times of her life being their Memaw. Jennie enjoyed fishing in their pond with her grandchildren, daddy and Bill. You would find her on hot summer days working with her daddy in his garden and helping Bill with theirs. Bill and Jenny enjoyed spending time together cooking, canning vegetables, and cooking Turkey and Dressing with all the trimmings for their family at Christmas. Opening presents at MeMaw and Pappaw’s was always a special treat! Jennie’s life was filled with love, laughter, family, friends and her pets! Jennie’s best friend was her sister, Karen, and they enjoyed spending time together with family and friends. The morning before going to surgery, Jennie wrote to her family and friends: “If I wake up in my sweet mother’s arms in God’s Kingdom, I will tell her all about all of you. I love you”.
