Mrs. Jennifer Joel Wilkinson

Jennifer Joel Wilkinson, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 03, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 07, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. and again Thursday, April 08, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS at 11:00 a.m. Jennifer was born to Jack Joel Wedgeworth and Nannie Mae Wiggins Wedgeworth on November 05, 1952 in Dekalb, MS. She was a hardworking woman. In her spare time, she loved to garden, paint, and cross-stitch. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially traveling with her youngest grand-daughter, Molly, to visit her sister, Diane in Shreveport. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie McClain and Judy Toombs. She is survived by her husband, of 22 years, Rex Wilkinson; sons, Mike (Pam) Watkins and Chad (Heather) Watkins, both of Byram; sister, Diane (Raymond) Brazzell of Bossier City, LA; and her grandchildren, Chase, Haley, Molly, Megan, Raven, Brandon, and Shelby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
