Jerry Nicholas Hinton,56, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, September 11, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 1pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with visitation prior to the service from 11:30am until 1pm. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Blvd.\ \ Jerry had lived in the Jackson area since 1962 having come from Gulfport. He was a salesman for Hinton Sales and member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Doris Hinton.\ \ Survivors include his wife Elaine Hinton of Byram; brothers, Robert Hinton (Darlene) of Jackson, Jeff Hinton (Cathy) of Terry ,Chris Hinton (Melinda) of Brandon and Stuart Hinton (Laura) of Houston, TX; sisters, Pamela Peeples of Raymond, Cherrie Marshall (Marlin) of Jackson, Cynthia Thomason (Richard) of Jackson, Lana Bell (Mitchell) of Byram and, Billie Lewis of Saucier.\ \ Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
