Mr. Jerry Prentiss Moorehead

Jerry Prentiss Moorehead, 74, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25th from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, November 26th from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. Mr. Moorehead worked for Green Light Parts Distribution as a warehouse manager and later retired from Car Quest. Mr. Moorehead was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Gloria Buffington Haydu. He is survived by his step-sons, Dion (Cheryl) Haydu of Polkville and George (Kim) Haydu of Brandon; daughter, Joette (Dale) Coker of Braxton; brother, Mitchell (Marie) Moorehead of Madison; sister, Sandra Austin of Raymond; and 5 grandchildren.
