Mr. Jerry Wayne Moudy Sr.

Jerry Wayne Moudy, Sr., 69, passed away at the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson on Sunday, February 3, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Jerry was born July 13, 1950 to Dee and Lois Moudy in Drew, MS. He moved to Terry 16 years ago after living in Bay City, TX for several years. Mr. Moudy was a welder by trade and a member of the Sheet Metal union. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country in Vietnam. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed playing golf. Along with his parents, Mr. Moudy is also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Moudy and his sister, Diane Moudy. He is survived by his sons, Jerry and his wife, Tammy Moudy, Jr. of Terry, MS and Brian Moudy of Bay City, TX; brothers, William and his wife, Sue Moudy of Arkansas and James Moudy of Madison, MS; sister, Wanda and her husband, Allen Malone of Shirley, AR and Patricia and her husband, Joe Perez of Lake Providence, LA; grandchildren Jordyn and Sidney Moudy, Sterling Walker and girlfriend Gracie Fletcher, Shelby Lynn Walker, John Walker, and Yancey Walker; and great grandchildren, Blaire Morgan Walker and Dax Wayne Walker.
