Jerry Dean Williams Painter, 76, died December 31, 2015, at St. Dominic’s Hospital with her family by her side. Jerry was born July 18, 1939 and attended Forest Hill School from Kindergarten until graduation in 1957. In 1961 she was married to Dan Edward Painter and the two have shared 54 years together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel B Williams and Robert E Williams, brother Robert (Bobby) F Williams. Survivors include husband, Dan; brother, Randolph E Williams (Donnis); sister, Roberta W Summers; 5 nieces and nephews; 13 grand nieces and nephews; many great grand nieces and nephews; and a multitude of godchildren. Jerry was co-owner of Jackson Academy Beauty Culture School and Salon from 1970 – 1985. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church of Jackson and presently a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. She was also active in Rankin County Junior Auxiliary and the Jackson Knife and Fork Club. Jerry had a servant’s heart. She cared for her brother, Bobby, in her home for 7 years before his death and has selflessly given of herself to all she met. Visitation will be January 1, 2016, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram Ms from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Services will be held in the chapel at Chancellor Funeral Home on Saturday January 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Springridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.
