Mr. Jerry Polk, 47 of Florence went home to the Lord, Monday, June 23, 2008. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Thursday at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Florence City Cemetery.\ \ Jerry was employed by Morea Plumbing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and 4 wheeling.\ \ He is survived by the love of his life of 30 years, Debra B. Polk, his girls; Kristy Wiysel , husband James, Amanda Calhoun, husband Daniel all of Florence; his six grandchildren: Abbie Wiysel, Zack Wiysel, Jeremiah Polk, Ethan Calhoun, Nathaniel Calhoun and Nickolas Wiysel; parents: Mack and Shirley Boyte of Florence; grandmother, Grace Harrell; brother Pete Polk both of Florence; sisters: Sandra Calhoun, husband Jared of Puckett, Donna Lewis, husband Jimmy of Brandon and numerous nieces and nephews.\
