Mr. Jerry Wayne Withers

Jerry Wayne Withers, 65, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Friday, August 28th from 5-8 PM and Saturday, August 29th from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Jerry was born July 28, 1950 in Madden, MS to Thomas and Evie Mae Withers. He worked as a Field Supervisor for H& P Drilling where he was for 40 years. He was a well respected and known as a hardworking man. He was also a family man who loved his family more than he loved himself. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Mr. Withers is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, “Miss June” Withers of Florence; children, Rick (Angie) Robinson, Wayne (Ashley) Withers and Jerri (Nic) Minton; nine grandchildren Jonathan Robinson, Justin Robinson, MaKayla Robinson, James Robinson, Kyleigh Robinson, Will Withers, Claire Withers, Emily Stidham and James Minton. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Edna (Billy Mack) Reeves, Jackie (Yvonne) Withers, Tommie Jean (Loyd) McMahon, Bobby (Pam) Withers along with a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
