Jerry Wayne Mills

Jerry "Pop" Wayne Mills, 63, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at River Oaks Medical Center in Flowood. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.\ \ Jerry was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in New Augusta. He was employed with Pure Water Solutions, Inc. as a Project Engineer. He received many certifications in the water industry. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his two grandsons. \ \ Jerry was preceded in death by his father, F. L. Mills. He is survived his wife, who was the love of his life and best friend, Pam Mills of Richland; mother, Helen Hulbert of Cerritos, CA; sons, Tommy Mills and Richie Grantham (Brooke) of Richland; grandsons, Keats and Cooper Grantham; sisters, Juanita Delahoussaye (Eddie) of Arcadia, CA and Pat Mills of Metairie, LA.\ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jerry's memory to the American Heart Association.\
