Jewel Davis

Jewel V. Davis, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, March 7 from 4-7pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will be Friday, March 8 at 10am at Springridge UMC Cemetery in Terry. Mr. Davis was born in Lumberton, MS and had lived in Jackson since 1945. He had been a salesman in the furniture business and member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pearl. Mr. Davis loved his family and his loyal dog Belle. Survivors include his wife Barbara Sue Davis of Jackson; son David Davis of Jackson; daughter Sherry Pearson (Glenn) of Flowood; brothers Murphy Davis of Bolton, T.M. Davis (Jackie) of Terry, and Lavern Davis (Joanna) of Byram; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. On line guest book available at chancellorfuneralhome.com.
