Mrs. Jimmie Lee Davis

Mrs. Jimmie Lee Davis, 78, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at Regency Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, December 21, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. The Funeral Service will begin at 2pm Tuesday, December 21, 2015 with a visitation beginning at 12noon. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park. A native of Anniston, AL where she married the love of her life William “Bill” Davis on his birthday, December 20, 1954. She moved to Byram in 1964. She loved animals, especially her Pomeranian, “Teenie.” Most of all, her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill” Davis and her sister, Mary Bonds. She leaves behind her three children, Steve Davis of Jackson, Dee Dee (David) Holmes of Crystal Springs, and Bill Davis of Jackson; brother, Robert Pierce of Atlanta; four grandchildren, David “Bubba” Holmes, Jade Holmes, Whit Holmes, and Cameron Davis; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
