James "Jimmy" H. Beckum, Jr., 56, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Central MS Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 2 - 3:30 PM Sunday 3, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 3:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.\ \ Jimmy grew up in Greenville, graduating from St. Joseph's High School. He has been a resident of Jackson for the past twenty years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, sports and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. Most importantly, he was family oriented and loved his family.\ \ Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James Harvey Beckum, Sr.; a son, James "Trey" H.
