Mr Jimmy "Kerry" Hawkins

Jimmy “Kerry” Hawkins, 64, went home to the Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He joined his late wife, Helen Hawkins and his mother, Vernell Weeks Sessions. Kerry was a proud father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a treasured friend to all he came in contact with and he never met a stranger. Kerry loved the Lord and he loved people. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Rambo Hunting Club in Braxton, MS. He enjoyed the time he spent there with his hunting buddies. He also loved his home and spending his days with his best friends, Danny Adcock, Grady Gipson and Justin Adcock “JBird”. He was a member of Quest Community Church in Florence. Kerri is survived by his very special friend, Debbie Hawkins; son, Michael (Loretta) Hawkins; daughter, Nicole (Marty) Wilkerson; father, Billy Morris (Jean Sessions); brother, Danny (Mary) Hawkins; sisters, Kathy (Donald) Adcock and Brenda (Henry) Holmes; 2 grandchildren, Brittney and Ryan Wilkerson; and his beloved Chihuahua, Blue. Visitation will be Monday, October 20th from 5-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 21st at 10 AM with an additional visitation on hour prior to the service. Kerry will be laid to rest at Braxton Cemetery in Braxton, MS; his hunting buddies from Rambo Deer Camp will serve as pallbearers.
