Jimmy Wesley Hopson, 50, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at CMMC in Jackson.\ \ He was born June 11, 1958 to Willie W. & Mildred Hopson. Preceding him in death were: father, Willie Hopson, step-father, R.L. Huff, step-brother, Ronnie Lee Huff, grandparents, Tim & Emma Hopson & William & Mary Brewer.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Gayla Hopson of Kiln; mother, Mildred Huff of Raymond; daughters, Brandi Hopson of Raymond, Bonnie Tanner of Flora; step-sons, Chris, Darrick and Tyler Sones of Kiln; brothers, Ben Hopson (Carol) of Raymond, Ronny Hopson (Valerie) of Brandon, Phillip Huff (Debbie) of Florence; sisters, Harriet McElhenny (Danny) of Pearl, Cara Harris (Bill) of Peoria, AZ, Linda Williams (Don) of Richland, Sandy Trest (Joey) of Ludlow, Beverly Cooper (Ric) of Rossville, GA, Karen McElroy (Danny) of Jackson; 7 grandchildren and many extended relatives and friends who will greatly miss him.\ \ Services will be 1:00pm Friday, October 24, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home, Siwell Rd., Byram.
