Mr. Jimmy Curtis Nolen

Mr. Jimmy Curtis Nolen, Sr., 80, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Services will be held in the Chapel at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00am with visitation from 10:00-11:00am. The burial will be @ Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Jackson. Jimmy served his country with honors. He was a Marine and an Army Drill Sergeant with the 82nd Airborne. He was of the Baptist faith and is a believer in Jesus Christ. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is no longer suffering in this world, but rejoicing in heaven with his wife, Stella. We love you daddy and you will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Nolen. He is survived by sons, Chad (Jamie) Nolen, Curt (Michelle) Nolen, and Jeff Burke; daughter, Shellie (Charles) Phillipson; brothers, Calvin (Connie) Nolen and Richard Nolen; sisters, Suzanne McCool and Terri “T.J” Haycraft; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
