Mr. Jimmy Ray Taylor Sr.

Jimmy Ray Taylor, Sr., 67, passed away at home on Thursday, May 08, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2014 from 10:00AM until the 2:00PM funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Taylor was a resident of Florence for 24 years and he was an automotive mechanic for 26 years and attended Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, JP and Ethel Taylor; siblings Charles Taylor and Ola Pearl Carmichael. He is survived by his son, Jimmy (Julie) Taylor of Brandon, MS; brothers, Earl Taylor of Canton, MS; James Taylor of Ethel, MS; Jack Taylor of Murpheesboro, TN; Marvin Taylor of Greenville, MS; Cecil Taylor of Florence, MS; Bill Taylor of Florence, MS; Bob Taylor of Florence, MS; sisters, Mary Bowles of Vardman, MS; Betty Ellington of Vaiden, MS; girlfriend, Lisa Nixon and many other friends and family.
