Jimmy Lee Jones, 75, went to be with his Lord April 16, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM, Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence and Tuesday from 10 until the 11:00 Funeral Service at First Baptist Church, Florence. Graveside services and interment will be 3:00 PM Tuesday in Enon Cemetery, Ackerman, MS.\ \ Born and raised in Choctaw County, Mr. Jones was a 1955 graduate of Weir High School and a 1962 graduate of Jackson Barber College in Jackson. He then moved to Florence and opened and operated Florence Barber Shop until he retired in 1997. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence and spent his life caring for his family and others in need. He often went to those sick and unable to come for haircuts. He also loved working in his yard.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Lee and Annie Green Jones and siblings Callie Faye Collier, Zelmer Jones, and Dorothy J. King.\ \ He is survied by his wife of 51 years, Jeanette Jones of Florence; Daughter Leigh Ann Jones Montgomery of Corinth; Sisters Mavis Schrimsher of Huntsville, Al, Betty Faust of Bartlett, TN, Carrie Lou Jones of Yazoo City, MS, Linda White of Maben, MS, and Joyce Wise of Eupora, MS; Brother Bobby Jones of Weir; and a number of nieces and nephews.\ \ Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Alzheimers Association.\
