Mrs. Joan Payne Letchworth

Mrs. Joan Payne Letchworth, 59, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hospice ministries in Ridgeland, MS. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram preceded by visitation from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Raymond Cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Letchworth was born June 17, 1954 to the late Clarence and Gloria Worley Sheffield. She was raised in Jackson, but had been living in Raymond since 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Tommy “T.” Letchworth; and by her brother, Lonnie Sheffield. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Payne of Raymond; and children, Brad Letchworth of Madison and Trudi Letchworth of Mongomery, AL. She is also survived by brothers, Dennis Sheffield, Larry Sheffield, Steve Sheffield, and Jeff Sheffield; Aunt, Effie Sheffield, as well as two grandchildren, Peyton Letchworth and Layne Letchworth.
