We wish to say a special thank you to his oldest daughter, Sherry Smith, for helping so much with him; his daughter, Debbie, who was there every day tirelessly for the family; and Amber Young for helping with Dad’s care. Dad loved all us kids so much. Dad also had two grandchildren that he raised as his own children, Daniel and Lyndsy Young. This loss will affect them extremely hard but we all could not thank those two kids enough for being there with heart felt love and Daniel for always being Dad’s best friend. To his wife of 50 years, we want to say we love you and thank you for making him happy for all those years. Dad’s only brother Bill also expressed how special dad was to him, sharing so many memories together. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing dad loved him. He was always fair to everyone and would always be there for anyone. This family has been very blessed to have had Dad’s great words of wisdom and wonderful sense of humor for 81 years. We know he is celebrating with lots of loved ones including his parents, a son and grandchildren.”
