Joe David Sharp

Joe David Sharp, 79, died Monday, June 13, 2011 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 1 until the 3pm service at the chapel in Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.\ \ Mr. Sharp was a member of First United Methodist Church in Richland. He worked for the Employment Security Division for 34 years before retiring. Before that he worked as Deputy Circuit Clerk in Hinds County. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and vacationing.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maggie Turner Sharp; his two sons, David Sharp of Florence and Richard Sharp of Richland; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. \ \ In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to First UMC Richland or your favorite charity.\
