Joe \J.R.\"" Bridges

Joe Bridges, 79, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5:30 pm until 8 pm and Wednesday, January 25th at Clear Branch Baptist Church from 9 am until the 10 am service. Burial will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Bridges was a life long resident of Rankin County and member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. He was a vegetable and cattle Farmer with his brothers all of his life and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.\ \ Mr. Bridges is preceded in death by his Parents, Ulysses and Alma Bridges; and by his brother, J.A. Bridges. He is survived by his brother, Ulysses Bridges of Clear Branch; his sister, Frances Tucker of Florence; niece, Janet White; nephew, Clifton Tucker and great nieces and nephews.\
