John David Cooper passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home in Florence. He was 56 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 14th from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. David was born November 26, 1965 in Jackson, MS to the late Robert Len Cooper, Sr. and Rebecca Sue Cooper. He worked as an Inspector at Vickers/ Eaton Aerospace. He loved his time there and took great pride in his work. He loved racing and enjoyed building race cars. He liked going to Eagle Lake, TV, and Bud Light. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. David was a great guy who would help anyone. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his stepfather who raised him, Marlin Adcock. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Samantha Cooper of Florence; daughter, Deven Reagan of Florence; son, Joseph Cooper of Florence; step sons, Wesley Gray and Jason Smith of Florence; grandson, River Reagan of Florence; sister, Fran (Mark) Kelly of Brandon; brothers, Jim Adcock, Jessie (Shannon) Adcock, and Bob (Stacey) Cooper all of Brandon.
