Mr. John Earl Crain

John Earl Crain Passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. A Graveside service will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence. John was born on February 18, 1946. He was a resident of the Clear Branch community in Florence and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He spent time serving our country in the Army and retired from MMC in 1998. John Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Elleen Crain; brother, Joe D. Crain, Jr.; and sisters, Sandra Crain and Mildred Brinson. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna Crain; stepson, Brian (Kristina) Morris and two grandchildren Brilee and Kaiden Morris all of Florence; sisters, Lawanda Cook of Purvis, Bessie Merle Floyd of Richland; Janice (Bobby Joe) Snell of Harrisville; Brothers, Bennie Crain and James Lee Crain of Florence and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks for the concern and caring of John Earl by the VA Hospital, Richland Primary Care, and Gentiva Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt Zion Baptist Church 2081 White Road Florence, MS 39073.
