Mr. John Jones

John Thaddis Jones, 57, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his home in Raymond. Visitation will be 1-3pm Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Apostolic Faith Church in Byram with services beginning at 3pm Saturday. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Raymond. Mr. Jones was born in Louisville, MS to the late Glover Daniel Jones and Margaret Lee Dunn Jones. He was a resident of Raymond for 21 years and a member of Apostolic Faith Church in Byram. Mr. Jones was a Logger for Southern Timber and he enjoyed Western movies, fishing and he loved trucking. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who lovingly called him “Doc” and “Uncle John”. He never met a stranger. Survivors include his son: John “Bo” Jones of Raymond; daughters Kaci Hynes (Johnathan) of TN and Laci Jones of Bastrop, LA; his loving companion Cathy Crosby; brothers Ricky Lee Jones (Debra) of Raymond and Ralph Daniel Jones of LA; sister Tammy Creel of Raymond; grandchildren Autumn & Dillon Hynes; nieces Tiffany & Erica and their families and a host of friends.
