Mr. John William May

John William “Billy” May passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd at 3:00 PM at Chancellor Funeral home in Florence. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 at the funeral home. Billy was an avid outdoorsman and loved to support the softball team that his daughter, Nicole, played on. He was a long time truck driver and recipient of the Million Mile Safety Award. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sammie Dees May; and two brothers Jasper Eugene and James Darwin May. He is survived by his wife, Rachel of Carrollton; his father Leland and his wife, Barbara of Richland; daughters Nicole Waltman and Casey Busby both of Carrollton; and a sister, Debbie (Carlos) Prevost and nephew, Zak of Clinton.
