Mr. John William McGregor

John William McGregor, 82, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Franklin County Hospital in Meadville. Visitation will be Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10am until the 1:00pm funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Mr. McGregor was born in Pontotoc, MS to the late Theron and Mary Taylor McGregor. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had lived in Raymond for the past 22 years. Mr. McGregor was self employed as a sign contractor and was a Shriner. Survivors include his wife Linda McGregor of Raymond; son Phillip McGregor of Byram; brother Bob McGregor of Memphis, TN; sisters Cassie (Paul) Eldridge, of Jackson, Melesia (Dorian) Henry of West Point, and step-daughter Jeri Pettit Stanley of Vacaville, CA.
