John Olliver, 67, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. Family and friends will gather at 2:30 p.m. for visitation Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Wells Memorial United Methodist Church. A celebration of his life will follow at 3 p.m John was born in Dover, Delaware, to the late Robert Raymond Olliver and Elizabeth Jane Hunter Olliver. He served as a State Trooper for the Delaware State Police. He lived in Jackson for the past 20 years. John was an enthusiastic fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He was a regular volunteer in the Wells Tuesday Neighborhood Ministries Food Pantry. John loved to cook and enjoyed working the grills at WellsFest. Survivors include: his wife, Kay Smith Olliver; brother, Michael Olliver; and sisters, Linda Jenkins and Mary Earnest.
