John C. Pierce, passed away on February 9, 2025, at St. Dominic’s in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on December 3, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to parents, Harley Pierce and Patsy Spivey Pierce. John lived a life characterized by kindness and an unwavering dedication to his family and community.
For many years, John built a career as a truck driver, a role that underscored his hardworking nature and commitment to providing for those he loved. Known for his generous spirit, he was adored by family, friends, and colleagues alike. His warm personality and genuine affection for others left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
John's interests were as diverse as his friendships. He found joy in the thrilling world of slot cars and was an avid sports enthusiast, relishing every opportunity to watch games of all kinds. His ability to share these passions with his loved ones brought them closer, creating treasured memories that will be cherished forever.
A member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church, John held the honor of serving as a Deacon, representing both his faith and his dedication to his community. His contributions to the church and the values he upheld left an indelible mark on those around him.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Patsy and Harley Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Pierce; his three daughters, Jessica, Nikki, and Chloe Pierce; his brother, David Pierce; and his sister, Michelle King. The love he shared with his family created a foundation of support and strength, which will continue to resonate through their lives.
John C. Pierce will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness, love, and dedication to family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
