John Michael Prystupa, Sr.

John Michael Prystupa, Sr. passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Plain View Assisted Living in Richland. He was 74 years old. Family and friends will gather at Crestview Memorial Garden in Brandon at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3^rd to Celebrate his life.

John was born November 12, 1947, in Schnectady, NY to the late Michael and Bernice Prystupa. He was raised in Clifton Park, NY before moving to Brandon in 1992. John was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam. He worked most of his life as a Project Engineer working with Paper Mills. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the New Orleans Saints.

Along with his parents, John was also preceded in death by his wife, Janelle Prystupa. He is survived by his sons, Eric (Kesha) Prystupa of Florence and John (Chie) Prystupa of Brandon; and 4 grandchildren, Emma, Sam, Lisa, and Lina.
