John Reagin, bid farewell to his earthly journey on June 26, 2023, in Terry, MS.  He was 75 years old.  Born December 4, 1947, to Julius Marion Reagin and Maggie Auguston Stewart of Jackson, MS. 

John's remarkable life was defined by his unwavering patriotism and dedication to serving his country. In December 1968, he made the selfless decision to join the United States Navy. His service during the Vietnam War exemplified the courage and commitment he possessed. 

John's unwavering love for his family was one of the cornerstones of his life. He was married to his beloved wife Kitty Stewart for 34 wonderful years. Their bond was built on trust, respect, and unwavering support for one another.  John took his role as a father as one of the most treasured of his lifetime and valued the time he had with his sons.  He will always be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and a loyal friend.

John leaves behind his wife, Kitty Stewart Reagin; his son John Charles Reagin (Lynn); stepsons, Joelee Duane Sessions (Bridgett) and Benjamin Patrick Sessions (Brandi).  Along with those are six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  

John was preceded in death by his loving parents, Julius and Maggie Reagin. 

In celebration of John's life, a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Terry.
