Mr. Johnnie Theron Boggan

JohnnieTheron Boggan, 84, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday, January 25, 2016 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Tuesday, January 26, 2016, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Boggan was born in Pinola, MS to the late John and Belle Boggan. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Boggan served 21 years with the Jackson Police Department, 15 years with Knoxx Glass and started his own Cable Company-RicMike Cable Service. He was also with Capitol Cablevision, retiring from Time Warner Cable as Director of Field Operations. Mr. Boggan was a member of Grace Bible Church. He is preceded in death by wives Lorainne and Betty; son Ricky Boggan; brothers Leotis, Mims and Howard Boggan. Survivors include his son Mike (Dena) Boggan of Florence; grandchildren Richard and April Boggan.
