Mrs. Johnnie Woodward Brock

Mrs. Johnnie Woodward Brock, 91, of Jackson passed away Saturday December 12, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Tuesday December 15 from 12-2pm, with funeral services at 2PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Utica Cemetery. Mrs. Brock was reared in Monticello, but spent most of her life in Jackson. She had worked with the Treasury Department for 35 years. Her last position was over the Savings Bond Division of Mississippi. Later in life she volunteered at Hinds General Hospital and was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Everett Brock, parents, Martha Elma Woodward and John Matthew Woodward, 5 siblings and his son-in-law Danny Haley. She is survived by her son, Robert Brock, of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; her daughter, Pam Haley, of Terry; granddaughter, Stacy (Keith) Hawsey; grandsons, Daniel Haley and Dusty (Shanna) Haley; great grandchildren, Haley (Taylor) Smith, Brooklyn Hawsey, Hollynn Haley, Bella Haley and Mollie Haley; great-great grand son, Axel Smith; and her sister Yvonne Gable of Brookhaven.
