Mrs. Johnnie Beatrice Robbins

Mrs. Johnnie Beatrice Robbins, 77, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Brandon Court Nursing and Rehab in Brandon. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12th from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service in the chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Richland City Cemetery. Mrs. Robbins was born in Waynesboro, MS to the late John and Beatrice Edwards. She has called Richland home since 1985. She retired from MS Baptist Medical Center where she worked in Central Supply. She enjoyed to garden and loved her grandchildren. Along with her parents, Mrs. Robbins is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Robbins; her granddaughter, Judy Riley; and her beloved son-in-law, Byron. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (James) Posey of Saltillo, MS, Jennifer (Brian) Reed of Richland, and Lorrie Smith; her son, David Edward Robbins of Hattiesburg; brother, Ernest “Buddy” Edwards of VA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
