Joseph Taylor Anderson

Joseph "Joe" Taylor Anderson, 76, of Raymond Mississippi, surrounded by his wife and family, was called home to be with the Lord January 27th, 2023. Services will be held February 1st, 2023 at 10am, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, with bro. Tim Vowell officiating.

Burial to follow at City of Raymond Cemetery under the direction of Chancellor Funeral Home.

Visitation will be January 31st, 2023 from 5-7pm at the funeral home. 

Joe was born January 6th, 1947, in Winnfield, Louisiana, the son of Charlie Taylor and Edith Irene Anderson. He later relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana, eventually making Jackson, MS his permanent home. Joe had a firm love for his Lord, Jesus Christ. He also worked as a welder fabricator, professional musician, and singer/song writer. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Taylor Anderson and Mother, Edith Irene Anderson.

Survivors include, his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Anderson; son, Joseph Christopher Anderson (wife Natalie) of Christiana, TN; two daughter's Tenee' Raquel Rowan (husband Todd) of Dallas, TX, and Morro Yvette Anderson of Shreveport, LA. Three Stepsons, Steve Page of Philadelphia, MS, Greg Page (Jeanette) of Raymond, MS and Doug Page (Darleen) of Brandon, MS. Along with those are two brothers, Roger Anderson of Nashville, TN and Stefan Anderson of Jackson, MS, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Adam Logan, Todd Rowan, Zack Page, Steve Page, Austin Pettis, and Greg Page.
