Joseph DePriest

Joseph “Joe” Callaway DePriest was born on October 27, 1940 and passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2023. 

Joe was a lover of many things. His family, hunting, the outdoors, and wood working were some of his favorite things in life. But out of all the things he loved, he loved Jesus the most. He spent his days telling others of the goodness of Jesus, and he would want you to know of it, too. He would want you to always choose Jesus and to know of His saving grace. There is always “Victory in Jesus”. 

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Cooper, son, Bill DePriest, and grandchildren, Brandi and Nathan DePriest. 

Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, June, his son,Rodney DePriest and wife, Becki, and daughter, Cathy South and husband, Donnie. Grandchildren Baley Dixon, and husband, Greg, Joseph South and wife, Kristen, and Zach and Peyton DePriest. Great grandchildren Cooper, Blaine and Ellie Anders South, and Caroline and Sam Dixon.
