Joseph L. Whitley, 70, died Saturday August 16th at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram Tuesday, Aug. 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Viewing will be Wednesday, Aug. 20th at 10:00 a.m. with Services following at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery.\ \ Joe Whitley was a life long resident of Jackson and was preceded in death by his parents, Holly and Marjorie Bearden Whitley. He retired from the IC/CN railroad having worked for 44 years 9 months and 11 days. \ \ He is survived by his wife Victoria Simmons Whitley, daughters Catherine Holman of Jackson, Elizabeth Whitley of Byram, Rebecca Love of Olive Branch, Beth Warren of Morton, sons Dwayne Sullivan of Jackson, Lamar Sullivan of Reform, AL, William Warren of Florence, MS, Robert Warren of Buford, GA, grandchildren Kevin Scott Holman, John B.
