Josephine Turner

Josephine Richardson Turner, 90, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 13, 2009. Visitation will be 5-9pm Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 1-2pm Sunday at First Baptist Church of Terry. Funeral services will begin at 2pm Sunday followed by interment at Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Turner had lived in Pearl since 2004 having come from Thomastown (Leake County) where she had lived for 30 years. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Terry.\ \ She is preceded in death by her daughters, Margaret Rae Harris and Frankie Lynell Beale. Survivors include her sons, Billy F Patterson, Joe H. Patterson, Jimmy Lee Patterson, Doubbie Patterson and Randy Patterson; daughters, Emma Halverson, Tiney Ann Dillinger, Mary Lou Carter and Sara Davis; sister, Virginia Barfield; 34 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren and 41 great, great grandchildren.\ \ The family sends a special thank you to Dr. James C. Hayes, the staff at Hospice Ministries, Sam Simmons and Rev. Duewayne Tullos.\
