Joy Jackson, 74, peacefully passed away at her home on February 25, surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Conway, AK and was the daughter of James Ferol and Troy Lea Fulmer. She has been a resident of Clinton since 1968. Joy was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spent most of her time following her grandchildren in their extra curricular activities and sports. She also enjoyed playing dominos and watching Jeopardy. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eric Jackson; three daughters, Beth Anne Lunceford (Allen) of Clinton, MS, Toni Wilson (Kenny) of Plano, TX, Karma Barham of Madison, MS: eight grandchildren, Dustin and Chase Lunceford, Jake, Anna, and Mollie Wilson and Avery, Alex and Ainsley Barham and her sister Betty Martin of North Little Rock, AR. Also, her loving friends Earline Mason, Pricilla Ham and Sue Stephens. A memorial service and visitation will be held Tuesday March 1 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at 1799 Clinton Raymond Road in Clinton, MS. Visitation will be held from 12 -2pm with the service immediately following.
