Ms. Joyce Lindsey Meadows

Joyce Marie Lindsey Meadows, 94, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12th from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, May 13th from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Meadows was a resident of Florence for the past 7 years, moving from Vicksburg. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. A lifelong caregiver, she spent most of her life as a Beautician and the last few years at Burger King, retiring at age 80. Mrs. Meadows is survived by her son, Ricky Meadows of Vicksburg; daughter, Janet (Larry) Langston of Florence; brothers, Alex Lindsey of Ocean Springs and James Robert Lindsey of Gulfport; sister, Nan Keith of Greenville; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
