Mr. Jude Preston Allen

Jude Preston Allen, 41, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home in Brandon. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 3:00pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. There will be a visitation one hour prior to service time from 2-3pm. Jude was born in Galveston, TX on April 7, 1976, raised in Morgan City, LA then Brookhaven, MS where he graduated High School. His working career began as a Chef for the Crown Plaza, cooking for several people of notoriety. Then he became an Electrician and Welder with Chancellor Supply in Laurel, MS. Jude loved riding his Harley--riding in charity rides for Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital and others. He was an avid LSU fan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Darlene Allen. Survivors include his wife Glenda Walker Allen of Brandon; sons, Q’uadee Allen and Maddux Allen of Florence; step-son, Sawyer Ballard of Brandon; daughter Brooklee Allen of Florence; father, Gary White of Morgan City, LA; brother, Justin Durr of San Antonio, TX; sister, Stacey Akins and in-laws, Kent & JoAnn Walker of Byram. Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital
