Julian Talmadge "Sandy" Sandifer passed away peacefully in the comfort of family at home Monday, December 19, 2011. He was born November 7, 1932, to Wilburn and Daisy (Didlake) Sandifer of Harrisville. Julian was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Sandifer, sister Wilma Campbell, and daughter Debbie Angelini. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Cobb) Sandifer; brother Robert (Marian) Sandifer of Memphis, TN; sister Faye (Terry) Devassie of Columbus, OH; children: Bonnie (Mike) Ward of Harrisville, Cindy (Sam) Etheridge of Brandon, Julie Sandifer of Fresno, CA, Phillip (Sally) Sandifer of Missouri, Julian Jr. "Bo" (Kim) Sandifer of Richland, Gay Lynn (Don) Goff of Richland; stepchildren: Ronald White of Jackson, Marilyn (Kenneth) Lewis of Harrisville, Harrell White of Pearl, and Darrell White of Jackson; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Julian was a dispatcher for Campbell's 66 for 23 years. He also worked for Churchill Trucking and Ryder. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Harrisville. He will be missed by many and loved by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, and services will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home with viewing from 12-2 PM and funeral at 2 PM.
