Julius D. McDonald

Julius D. McDonald, 82, of Florence, MS, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his residence. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 27 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence, MS with the funeral service on Tuesday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. McDonald was born in Hinds County, MS on March 18, 1931 to Dan and Lola McDonald. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was retired from Kulham Electrical Company. Mr. McDonald is preceded in death by his wife, Annie McDonald. He is survived by his sons: Dalton McDonald and Steve (Judy) McDonald, both of Florence, sisters: Dorothy Schwartz of Florence and Mary Purvis of Newton, MS, grandchildren: Kayla (Charles) Prestridge, Crystal McDonald, Daniel (Amber) McDonald, and Tyler (Abby) McDonald and great-grandchildren: Jonathan Prestridge, Brett Prestridge and Brantley Prestridge and a host of nieces and nephews.
