Mrs. Karen Johnsey McGowan

Karen Adele Johnsey McGowan,54, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, March 29, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South. Mrs. McGowan was born in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Kenneth and Adele Carter Johnsey and lived in Terry for the past 18 years. She loved people, her two dogs Molly & Zena and enjoyed Nascar and fishing. Mrs. McGowan was a member of High Point Baptist Church in Raymond and was office manager for Brian Johnston Family Dentistry. Survivors include her husband, Randy McGowan; son, Tim (Jennifer) Davis of New Hebron; daughters, Kimberly Tullis of Terry, Sarah (Ben) Braxton of Clinton and Jennifer (Shannon) Spitchley of Harrisville; brother, Ken (Cindy) Johnsey of Terry; sisters, Regina (Hal) Thompson of Crystal Springs, Elayne Garth of Denim Springs, LA, Alice (Benny) Thomas of Brandon and Celeste (Shane) Mize of Raymond and four grandchildren.
