Kathleen Morgan Shows, 89, died Sunday, October 14, 2012, at the MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation is 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 and Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park South.\ \ Mrs. Shows retired from Deposit Guarantee Bank. Mrs. Shows was a long time member of McDowell Road Baptist Church in Jackson. She has been a member of First Baptist Church Florence for the past 20 years.\ \ Mrs. Shows is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Hubert E. Morgan; daughter, Monica Sellers; and son-in-law, Jimmy Sellers.\ \ She is survived by her husband, Russell E. Shows of Florence; son, Don G. Morgan (Jan) of Richton; daughter, Kathy Horne of Florence; step-daughter, Suzanne Harris (Chester) of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Michael Sellers, Tanya Ware, Melissa Morgan, Mecklyn Zuniga, Tracy Horne, Morgan Blackwell, and Nick Horne; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.\ \ The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Villa South Assisted Living, Southern Healthcare Agency, and the nurses and staff of Baptist Hospital 3 North.\ \ The family guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
