Mrs. Kathryn Kelly Harkins

Kathryn Kelly Harkins, 74, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Plainview Assisted Living in Richland. Visitation was Wednesday, May 25th from 5-8 PM and will be Thursday, May 26th from 9 AM until the 10 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. A native of Arkansas, she was reared in Learned and spent the last several years in Florence and Richland. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Richland. Mrs. Harkins was a homemaker. She was a people person that was very caring and giving to others. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Harkins was survived by her son, Robert (Phyllis) Harkins of Richland; daughters, Charlotte (Wayne) Smith of Richland and Cindy McCormick of Chapin, SC; brothers, Graves Kelly, Jr. and James Kelly; sister, Nora Butts; 4 grandchildren, Jordan and Sarah McCormick, Shelia Harkins, and Nathan Smith; one great granddaughter, Natalie Harkins; and nieces Kelsie and Kayden Butts.
